Top marks on all categories!!! Nailed it on every dish (even if tongue is not my “ go to” meat)....reindeer, lamb, char, and the artichoke were great. To do this with precision on NYE at 10:00 PM was fun to watch.... but more fun to eat!!!!!

Loistava hinta/laatu suhde. Palvelu toimii kuten pitääkin. Maanläheistä simppeliä ruokaa, hyviä makuja ja viinit hyvin sovitettuja.

Mielestäni ruoka ja palvelu ravintolassa oli mainiota ja vastasivat odotuksiani, jopa ylittivät ne. Pienenä miinuksena hieman meluinen miesseurue vieressämme. Asialle ei kuitenkaan mitään voi tehdä, joten emme siitä häiriintyneet :)

Even at lunch-time, it is nice service if filling of the wineglasses are done by the waiters. Small detail but when wine costs 82€ / bottle, one expects full service.

Ihanaa ruokaa paitsi tokan alkuruoka satsin kalanakit. Ne oli kamalia! Muutenkin suosisimme mieluummin omia naaman eteen kannettuja annoksia. Jakaminen on rasittavaa ja vie osan nautinnosta .

A tasting menu that brings you on an experimental journey. Introducing the Sapas, basically Finnish version of Tapas, bite-sized dishes made with local Finnish produce such as reindeer, arctic char, sea buckthorn and salmon. Dishes play with your tastebud by strange ingredient pairing that doesn’t sound very appealing but cleverly cooked and magically well balanced and tasty together. All in all, I would say the whole is greater than the sum of individual parts. · Chicken liver with grape - never tried such combo before but it’s match made in heaven! · Reindeer blood pancake - it’s like blood sausage but the sweet light cream and the berries on top balanced out the gaminess perfectly. · Whitefish sausages and puff - first time trying sausages made with fish, it’s very interesting and tasty, and the savory puff is delicious too. · Starring the humble Jerusalem artichoke as a main is not easy, and it’s showcased in multiple ways as a terrine with crispy pickled ones sprinkled on top serving with a almond sauce. · Nordic food cannot be completed without a fish course, the salmon is lightly seared cooked in medium rare served with a creamy foam and the incredibly light almost foamy Potato mash that’s absolutely delicious. · The dessert featured their local fruit, sea buckthorn, with chocolate ganache and buttermilk ice cream to balance out the targiness, still leaving it refreshing.

Kiva ilmapiiri, mainio henkilökunta. Yllätysmenun annosten jakaminen hankalaa eikä kovin esteettistä neljälle hengelle, pitäisi huomioida jakaminen paremmin annosten asettelussa.

The cuisine and the location where very fine, but the staff provided a minimum of service. No smile, no qestion if we liked the food, no welcome, thank you or good bye. Since many other locations, bars and restaurants offered great service and hospitality in Helsinki, this one was different. Our stay got not overshadowed, but we will not return either. Thank you anyway for great food.

It was owerall great. If you are looking for finnish experience this is the place to go. But if you are not from Europe the taste palet can be bit too extreame. And don't go sit next to door at the other room. Other then that the food was the most Finnish you can find, and our waitress was great quick and did his job well. And the food was respecting the ingredients used in it.

Hätäinen palvelu, laskuttivat 100€ liikaa, kiireen tuntu. Ruoka oli ihan hyvää, mutta ei poikkeuksellista tai yllättävää.
