Ravintola Lappiin tullessamme tunnelma oli viehättävä, kuin lämpimään mökkiin olisi astunut keskellä Helsinkiä. Ikäväksemme saimme ensimmäiseksi tarjoilijaksemme miesoletetun, joka oli kiukkuinen ja mitä ilmeisemmin harmistunut jostakin, jonka sitten purki meihin. Heitettyään leipäkorin pöytäämme nälkäisinä tartuimme rieskan paloihin ja tummaan leipään. Ulkomailta Suomeen tullut vieraani sanoi tumman leivän olleen vanhaa. Olin samaa mieltä. Leipä ei ollut tuoreen makuista vaan kovaa ja kuivaa. Tämän miesoletetun tarjoilijan tullessa hakemaan tilaustamme, kysyin ystävällisesti, mistä leipä mahtoi olla. "Miksi?" Vastasin, että leipä maistui siltä kuin se olisi otettu pakkasesta, vaikka meille oli sanottu leipien olevan tuoreita. "Älä sitten syö jollet tykkää". Tämä huvitti ja harmitti. Ja vaikutti ikävä kyllä siihen, millaisen kuvan saimme Lappi-ravintolasta, vaikka lopulta saimme hyvin ystävällisen naisoletetun tarjoilijaksemme. Lämpimät kiitokset hänelle kohteliaisuudesta ja palvelualttiudesta. Ruoka oli ihan ok, lihat hyviä, vaan ikävä kyllä juureksista oli puristettu kaikki maku pois samoin kuin perunakuutioista.

The slow cooked reindeer meat was so tender and the sauce was so good. Only if the knife changed to proper steak knife would be much easier to cut.

Miinusta oli erittäin epämukavat ja kovat penkit ja tuolit. Istuminen ilman selkänojaa on aina raskasta (penkit) ja tuolitkin olivat erittäin epäergonomiset mittasuhteiltaan. Ruoka ja palvelu sen sijaan oli aivan erinomaista:)

Reindeer shank was delicious! I didn't expect so much taste because was well cooked and served with mashed potato and sauerkraut

Ruoka oli erinomaista. Henkilökunnan palveluasenne oli hieno, mutta ajoituksessa oli toivomisen varaa. Jouduimme odottamaan pitkään että tarjoilija tuli kysymään ensimmäisiä juomatilauksia seurueeltamme. Vesilasit jötettiin täyttämättä ja viinitilaukset piti pyytää erikseen ruoan kanssa.

This was my 5th day in Finland and Lappi Ravintola was the best dining experience I've had here. The food was outstanding! I will definitely be returning for another wonderful dining experience.

The girl wearing Finnish skirts provided an excellent service to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner with great vibes. Some dishes were new experience to us but they all were delicious!

Tasty food and good service. Expensive. Moreover they made us a reservation at 9:30 and the kitchen was closing at 10:00 as we informed later. So when it was time to order a dessert the kitchen had already closed without a last call.

Absolutely fantastic! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience at Lappi Ravintola! The food was outstanding and the service superb. If we are ever to visit Helsinki again, which I hope, surely we will visit Lappi Ravintola again.

L'accueil est très soigné et ils suivent bien les demandes faites en amont. Une attention particulière pour les enfants en bas âge. La cuisine est traditionnelle, raffinée et surtout DELICIEUSE. UN AGREABLE MOMENT !! MERCI
