Ruoka on edelleen maittavaa ja hyvin tehty. Jäin vain kaipaamaan menneiden vuosien laajempaa tarjontaa. Taantumisesta huolimatta glamour on edelleen tallella vaikka hinta on suhteessa kokemukseen hieman korkea nykyisellään. Pienellä lisä panostuksella tulisi taas parempi kokemus.

I was here 23 years ago (2002), during a work travel, and I wanted to repeat the experience, since I liked then and I like now to enjoy some typical dishes. I was seated even in the same table, and I must say that all memories came back. Howevet, comparing pictures now and then, I realise that the assortment of Lappish delicacies is much worse now, with much less food, while not being exactly cheap. The rest of the dishes are quite good, and it is likely that we come back as soon as we have the chance. In any case, a recommended visit for any tourist.

Grossartiges Essen!!! …..und eine Bedienung wie es sie heute leider kaum noch gibt. Kompetent, Freundlich, einfach unübertreffliche!!!!

If you want to sample traditional Finnish food while in Helsinki, Lappi is a great choice. Excellent food and staff, love the rustic atmosphere.

Ristorante tipico finlandese, interni caldi in legno, cucina tipica di ottima qualità. Un po' caro, ma come tutti i ristoranti tipici, proporzionato comunque alla qualità degli ingredienti.

We went to this restaurant so my partner could have some authentic food from the area. He had reindeer and because I'm vegetarian I had the farm (squeaky) cheese in a cinnamon cream for dessert. Oh my word, the food was delicious, my veggie option included. The ingredients and dishes were described and explained to us brilliantly. If you visit Helsinki this is a must for sure. I'd highly recommend it.

Wunderbares Ambiente in diesem Restaurant und die Bedienung war hervorragend. Das Essen (Elch + Rentier) ist auch hervorragend, aber preislich oben angesiedelt. Die Menge für den Preis ist überschaubar. Um satt zu werden braucht es Vor- oder Nachspeise zusätzlich. Die Gratis-Wasserflasche wurde immer gegen eine volle ersetzt. Waren zum zweiten Mal da, gerne immer wieder.

Muy buen lugar, recomiendo pedir las entradas y plato fuerte para compartir.

What an interesting experience. We had the appetizer and dinner for two. A great way to sample Lapp food. And the Kaski beer with its smokey aftertaste was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
