Arctic Restaurant

Our experience at Arctic Restaurant could not have been any better. The food (bread, entrees, & desserts) and ambiance were excellent, with service that was even better. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Rovaniemi!!

As a family of 4, we had a wonderful experience. As soon as we walked in the door we were ushered to our reserved table. Our drinks requests were taken and water plus complimentary bread selection and butter was brought to our table. Our starters and main courses arrived quickly and they were delicious. We were attentively served drinks and didn’t want for anything during our visit. I would like to say a special mention to our server, Mr Valdemor (sorry if I spelt that wrong) We will definitely return on our next visit.

Pöydän sijainti ulko-oven äärellä oli huono, joka kerta oven avautuessa, ja ovi avautui usein, tuli erittäin kylmä tuulahdus (ulkona n - 15-18C). Palvelu oli miellyttävää mutta hidasta. Alkuruoat olivat hyvät, etenkin pöytäseurue piti keitoista. Pääruoan kala oli kaikilla kuivaa ja kokonaisuus oli melko mielikuvitukseton. Jälkiruoka oli keskinkertaista. Kokonaisuudessaan ok-kokemus, jätti jopa melko välinpitämättömäksi. Käymme usein Rovaniemellä. Tähän ravintolaan ei ole ns ’pakko päästä uudestaan’.

The staff was excellent. We enjoyed the food and wine. The only drawback was the tiny coat closet in December was stuffed full.

We did enjoy the food and the atmosphere. The place felt intimate, cozy and warm. The service was outstanding. The way they left us to breathe between the courses was very nice. It is a place to go. I recommend this place with all my heart.

Excellent restaurante in all the possible aspects. Ambiance, decoration, high end gastronomy with a brilliant chef that knows exactly how to make a gourmet version of the lapland flavors. We had the burger (excelent) and the moose with reindeer dish (outstanding). But the experience was definetelly completed with the the great and kind service of Waldemar S, he does and amazing job nit only guiding you in your food and wine choices, but with such a warmth and perfect polite balance, he is the cherry on top that took the experience to the next level. Dont miss out on this restaurante and on the moose dish!

Alkuleivät jäi saamatta, viereisiin pöytiin ne kyllä tarjoiltiin. Kalaruoka oli melko mautonta.
