Very delicious Finnish classic dishes, the grilled salmon is great, and the other dishes are very unique, but a little too salty for us Taiwanese. I personally like the 1% home-brewed beer. Friends who come to Helsinki can come and try it.

Cozy and inviting restaurant with a friendly staff, serving a dinner buffet with a variety of traditinal Finnish dishes. Wonderful experience! Give the "tar treat" a try for dessert, the sauce is pretty smoke-forward at first, but the tar ice cream really grows on you!

La experiencia fue perfecta. Desde el primer momento el personal , se preocupó de explicarnos y recomendarnos cada uno de los platos típicos , así como de asesorarnos con las bebidas locales. El trato fué muy cercano y amable . La comida fué deliciosa y abundante . Si visitas Helsinki , no dudes en visitarlo

Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, kleines, feines Buffet mit einer Auswahl kalter und warmer Speisen, exzellenter Lachs, eine hervorragende Fischsuppe und auch die Fleischgerichte waren sehr gut gewürzt. Als Dessert überzeugten ein Beeren-Quark Pie und das leckere finnische Eis.

The service was friendly and amazing and the food was awesome. Loved the different flavours and couldn't fit dessert in. The staff explained everything really well. Loved their special ale brew as well. It really was a great place to taste some of the traditional Finnish prepared food. Highly recommended.

Sehr empfehlenswert und reichlich Auswahl an Speisen plus sehr guten Service

Pääsimme jo ennen varattua aikaa vapaaseen pöytään. Ulkopuoli ravintolan sisäänkäynti on kivasti somistettu. Ravintolan sisämiljöössä käytetty laituriesineistöä ja -kuvamateriaaleja. Tosin täysin uudessa paikassa jäimme hieman 'yksin' kun toivoimme henkilökunnan kertomaan talon tavoista. Narikat ovat 'hajautettu' ja pöytienkin lähellä on takeille koukkuja. Esim.buffet-kattaus sisältää samassa pöydässä niin alku-kuin pääruoatkin. Sisääntulosta ensin on toki keitto ja sitten pääruoat, viimeisenä vasta alkuruoat. Saimme kuitenkin avun heti kun sitä kysyimme. Ruoan ottamisjärjestys hieman huvitti kun sukkuloimme näiden välillä kuten muutkin. Ruoka on tosi maittavaa, kuin kotona olisi perinteistä pitojen ruokaa pitoemäntien laittamana. Ravintolan tilat ovat tosi haasteelliset, niin ruokailu- kuin sosiaalitilatkin. Varmaan muutamakymmenen neliömetriä olisi ravintolanpitäjälle hyvinkin tervetullut lisä. Tämä on kiva paikka ulkomaalaisille vieraille, jotka halutaan tutustutettavaksi hyvään perinteikkääseen suomakaisruokaan ja -juomaan. Jälkiruokakahvin tai -teen olisi halunnut kuuluvan hintaan pikkumakean piirakka-tai kakkupalan kanssa. Ravintola tekee myös catering ja juhlakeikkaa, joten kannattaa kysyä helitä tarjous.

Molto caratteristico, cibo tipico finnico ottimo e abbondante, stufato di renna e vorschmark eccezionali, però la porzione del dessert era davvero piccola per 8,90€!

Lounaspaikkanakin erinomainen. Tosin tutkittuani etukäteen netissä lounasmahdollisuutta pidin esittelyä siellä hieman sekavana eikä hämäräksi jäänyt asia selvinnyt myöskään paikalla. Lähinnä sekavuus koski lounaan kahta eri vaihtoehtoa.

Vastaanotto tullessamme ravintolaan oli ystävällinen ja vaikka meitä oli enemmän, mitä olimme ilmoittaneet järjestyi suurempi pöytä heti mutkattomasti. Ruoka oli koko seurueen mielestä monipuolinen ja herkullinen. Myös ravintolan tunnelma on aina yhtä miellyttävä. Tulemme varmasti vastakin Helsingissä käydessämme

The restaurant was excellent, boasting an impressive array of dishes. We were eager to sample reindeer, and it was prepared exquisitely. We also had the opportunity to taste several other Finnish specialties. The soup was flavorful yet mild, and the bread drink was particularly enjoyable. Due to the restaurant's popularity, making a reservation beforehand is highly recommended.

Overall it was a nice experience and the food was nice, but there was no dessert included in the dinner buffet. This should be also included for that price.

The fish was salty and overcooked. The mushrooms were vinegary. However, the appetizers were good and so were the mashed potatoes.
