Ravintola Nest

We loved our New Year’s Eve dinner at Nest. The adults and kids all enjoyed our meals and desserts and our server was wonderful!

We booked table for 7; 4 adults and 3 children. Everyting was amazing, the main course, kids menu, deserts, atmosphere, service, everything was perfect. Mostly recommended.

Ein absolut empfehlenswertes finnisches Restaurant! Das Essen war hervorragend – frisch zubereitet, authentisch gewürzt und wunderschön angerichtet. Jeder Bissen hat überzeugt. Dazu ein gemütliches Ambiente und sehr freundlicher Service.

Food was really tasty and staff very friendly but the kids portions were tiny (they left the restaurant still hungry) and empty plates weren’t cleared before the next course arrived, and cutlery had to be requested so could have been a bit slicker.

Wonderful friendly service, authentic and beautiful meals. We had artichoke soup, fresh salmon, bear, reindeer and moose. The reindeer sausage and bear were standouts for me

Ottimo e squisito soprattutto l'alce, il salmone e l'antipasto fillandese.

Assaggiato piatti tipici Finlandesi come la zuppa di salmone e la carne di renna! Ottima anche la torta al cioccolato per chiudere la cena. Inoltre servizio molto attento, complimenti alla cameriera che ci ha serviti!

Locale soft e particolare musica bassa che permette di parlare tranquillamente. Preso un antipasto per due, una assaggio di orso, renna saltata, e filetto di alice. Particolare e gustoso. Lo consiglio.

The restaurant is overpriced for what it is. We asked for sparkling water and they brought us the smallest carafe I have ever seen. It was so small, I thought that it must be complimentary. Because you can hardly get more than two small glasses from the carafe, we got another one. When we got the bill it turned out that the carafes were €5.50 EACH, for what was not even half a liter of water in each carafe. This is a DISGUSTING overcharge for water. The meals were fine. Nothing special. The main course was medium sized, probably not big enough if you are very hungry. Overall, a high price, though probably typical for a tourist area. Really it was the price of the water that was just outrageous.

Otimme Onnellisin kansa-menun. Alkuruoka (8lappilaista makua) oli oikein hyvä. Pääruokana lohi oli suolaton ja todella kuiva. Hirvi oli ok. Jälkiruoka oli suuri pettymys, valmislettuja lämmitettynä kera kaupan mansikkahillon ja jäätelöpallon. Maku kamala. Ravintolan kiireinen tunnelma välittyi asiakkaille ja myös työntekijöiden keskinäiset pienet riidat kuuluivat pöytään asiakkaille.

Traditional Sami dishes the way the Sami would it them at home.

Food prepared well, however, a prominent protein was not available, which encompassed two of the five dinner choices. Suggest making a special instead of advertising as available on menu. Wine selection limited. Everything was served hot and fish soup was delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Such an amazing team. We had a great time there. The food was delicious thanks to the chef. We left with a full tummy and happy. They are outstanding. My cousin left her camera there and shortly after we left, Sanna emailed us if we left anything behind. Thank you Sanna!!
