Ravintola Poro

The food and the atmosphere in Poro were amazing. When we booked our reservation they were really helpful on my request for my boyfriend’s birthday. The waiter was really helpful on suggesting us different plates for us to taste the Lappish flavours. I only recommend this restaurant!

We are coming to the Poro since 2019, twice a year. This time we noticed a change in the kitchen. At the start the Amuse Gueule was missing, which was a pity as it has always been a pleasant and delicious surprise. The starter should have been with Cep Mushroom but we could barely smell it and the taste was not even there. It was almost like a vegan petty. But we did not complained and wanted to give the main a chance. The main was Moose meat. The sauce etc. was good but the meat only tasted of garlic and was also cold. So this was a real downer. It was a pity as we never had any complaints at all. The staff handled everything nicely, very polite and professional as always. We just payed for the drinks and the starter as we ate it and did not complained about it in the first place. We cancelled our 2nd booking and will give the Poro a chance in 2026 as every cook can have a not so perfect day. See you next year Poro Team, we will definitely give it an another try in 2026.

Locale molto caratteristico. Personale attento e gentile anche con i bambini. Cibo buono e locale. Buona selezione di vini.

Erinomaista ruokaa ja hyvää palvelu. Miellyttävä ympäristö ja tunnelmallinen paikka.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Leider gibt wenig vegetarische Varianten.

Oberes Preissegment. Allerdings sehr charmant in der Ausstattung und dem Service. Portionen eher klein, daher Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht im Gleichgewicht. Für einen besonderen Abend jedoch perfekt.

Es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Service Personal aufmerksam und freundlich.

Netter Service, kurze und übersichtliche Karte. Preis Segment eher obere Grenze, aber noch akzeptabel. Atmosphäre ist sehr schön.

Qualität der Speisen war hervorragend; jedoch hätten wir Mengenmässig etwas mehr gemocht. Auch war der Hauptgang leider etwas zu kalt.

Repas délicieux, serveuse très accueillante et professionnelle, je recommande fortement ce restaurant.

Ruuan tuonti pöytään kesti liian kauan kun seurueessa oli myös pieniä lapsia. Varaus oli klo 15 mutta ruoka tuli vasta 15.45. Muuten ruoka oli erinomaista ja paikka on tunnelmallisen hieno. Tulemme uudestaankin.

Food was nice, however too complex (too many little garnish on the side, taking away the taste of the main dish, which was very tasteful. Quantity/size of dish could be more. Service was very fast, with 2 courses + coffee we were in and out in less then an hour.

Ihan ok kokemus kokonaisuutena. Jouluruokailun pääruokaosuus oli pettymys kinkkujen takia. Seisova pöytä sopisi minulle paremmin. Saisi enemmän niitä, mistä tykkää.

Joulumenu oli hyvä ja palvelu loistavaa. Paikka oli uniikki ja kaunis.

Great food, very nice staff, nice atmosphere. Menu is not very big but there is something for anyone to choose.

Sehr zuvorkommender Service, sehr gute Englischkenntnisse, qualitativ hochstehendes Essen, ansprechend serviert. Ca 15 Minuten Gehzeit vom Jounin Kauppakeskus, darum für uns eher abgelegen.
